Coaching FAQ
On the different coaching profiles, you'll generally see what kind of services a coach can do for you. Here's what they mean in detail:
Goals / Activities / Tasks
The coach sets weekly goals and activities for the student. These can consist of small challenges and project or reading material. They are supposed to help towards reaching a bigger end goal.
1-on-1 calls
The coach is available for 1-on-1 phone calls. How often these occur is meant to be agreed on between the client and the coach. They can be irregular and spontaneous or scheduled weekly/biweekly/monthly.
Pausing Coaching
Pausing a coaching relationship causes payments to pause while keeping access to the chat system and other resources.
The days left in your billing cycle will be added on as you resume the coaching relationship.
Example:
You've already paid on the 1st of the month You're pausing on the 15th -> approx. 15 days are left in your current cycle You're coming back on the 10th -> your next payment is scheduled for the 25th
Ending Coaching Relationships
When you end a coaching relationship, you lose all connection to the coach and are asked to leave a final bit of feedback.
Both actions can be taken from the dashboard.
Interactions per week
How many interactions can I expect per week? There is no hard limit on maximum interactions per week/month. Contact them whenever you need help and you'll get a reply.
While we don't limit interactions on an application-base, there is of course a natural limit of how often you can and should talk to your coach. They are busy people and can't check in on you a dozen times per day.
Act naturally - Coaches are also humans with their own set of responsibilities and not a search engine. Mutual respect is very important.

A coach is unresponsive & not responding to my application, when can I hear back?
Depending on coach, the average response time is between 1 and 5 working days. How fast a coach responds usually can be seen on their profile.
In some cases – roughly 5-10% of the cases, coaching requests can go unanswered. This happens more often with free coaches. After 10 days we usually assume that a coach is too busy, and will send you a reminder with a few suggestions and alternatives to look at.
How does the 7 day trial with my coach work?
Coaches on CoachWith.com offer a 7-day free trial. This means you have 7 days to meet with your coach, get to know them and work on a plan.
The trial starts on the day you put in your payment details and get connected with your coach through chat. Please note that even if you don't manage to meet with your coach during the trial days, billing will automatically start at the end of the 7 day period.
In case of scheduling conflicts, coaches have the tools at hands to extend the trial period by as long as needed. Connect with your coach early enough about this option.
Please note that you are not eligible for a trial with coaches you've already had a trial with prior.
What should you do during the trial?
The trial is a chance for you to scope out how it's like to work with a specific coach. At the end of it, you should have the confidence and security to know that the collaboration can grow into something great.
Our guidelines recommend to jump on a quick call with the coach within that time. However, the call should be treated like an intro call of 30 to 60 minutes and not like an in-depth coaching session. It's important to align on goals and chat through some of the ideas, before diving right in.
If you feel like a coaching relationship is not going to work out, you have the right to leave the trial through your dashboard.
